Travis, Beth, Malcolm, Warren, Bev and Alison ran the NW Passage Relay in Washington over the weekend. The NW Passage is a relay race that runs from Blaine, WA to Langely, WA...a course of 185 miles. There is a map below and if you click on the map you'll be able to see the bigger picture.
"I Thought This Was A 5k" was the official name of the team and was also marked as Team #1. Being Team #1 didn't really mean much, but the team was asked a lot of questions about how they managed to achieve that level of awesomeness. The team consisted of 12 runners (the other 6 were friends of Bev) and each runner ran 3 legs. Overall, the team placed 97th out of the 142 teams that participated. The team finished the race in 28 hours 5 minutes and 7 seconds. If I figured it out right, that means that the average mile was finished in 9 minutes...I'd say that was pretty good. Anyway, here are some pictures from the race.
