My Early Morning Boredom

It's a little after 2:00 in the morning and I'm not sleeping. I've been awake since 12:30. I stayed in bed for a while trying to convince myself to go back to sleep, but I'm not very persuasive. I finally decided to get up to do something productive, but once I was up I realized there wasn't a whole lot I can do at this hour that's productive. I even wandered around the house for a while looking for something to do. I opened and closed the fridge a couple of times. But, each time I checked there wasn't anything in there I wanted to eat. It's too bad I can't go grocery shopping. That would be productive. But, if I were to go shopping I'd have to get dressed. And I don't want to be that productive. A few minutes ago I went back to my bedroom and became irritated when I saw Travis sleeping. It's no fair that he gets to sleep. I wanted to wake him up so we could talk, because he says really funny things in the middle of the night. But, I decided to be nice and not wake him. I eventually made my way into my office to browse the Internet. That became boring really fast. So here I am at 2:45 a.m. blogging about not sleeping. It's not necessarily productive, but it's killing time. I'm sure it's a very boring blog, so I'll be nice and go back to bed. Maybe I'll try my luck at counting sheep...
