Shelby Has A New Toy

I'm sure the novelty of having a little sister will wear off soon, but in the meantime it's way fun seeing Shelby love on Gretchen.

One night Gretchen was hanging out on the floor so Shelby jumped at the opportunity to join in the fun.  What happened next was pretty much the cutest thing EVER.  Shelby was talking Gretchen's ear off and Gretchen was all smiles and so HAPPY.  It was dang cute.  And, yes I know they are all pretty much all the same picture, but I couldn't pick my favorite.   

Shelby as 2 jobs to help us with Gretchen.
1. She's in charge of throwing away all dinosaur eggs (aka dirty diapers)
and
2.  She's on binky duty (making sure Baby keeps binky in mouth when she's having trouble).
Shelby has added a third task which is combing Gretchen's hair.  About every 15 seconds she'll ask me if she can comb her hair and she won't stop until I allow it. After Gretchen's hair is combed she'll ask to comb Percy, our cat. I never allow that.

It didn't take long for Shelby to realize that Gretchen would be the perfect baby for my mom's doll bed.  Gretchen fit, but just barely.

Gretchen LOVES her swing.  I am so happy she does because it makes my life a lot easier.  I'm not sure why I find it so cute that Gretchen loves looking at the bears, but it really is adorable. 

Baby yawns are the best. 

And so I don't forget how cute my Shelby is...here she is being, well Shelby.
