Weekend at the Beach

The Lundgreen families spent the weekend at our friend's beach house in Pacific City.  Everyone was their except for Beth, which made us all sad, but we managed to survive without her.

When we arrived Friday afternoon we immediately went out to dinner and then hit the beach.  Shelby couldn't get to the water fast enough, but once she got there she said it was too cold for swimming. 

We took a million photos at the beach hoping Shelby would be smiling AND looking at the camera in one of the pictures.  This was the best we got.

Saturday morning, Jay's family arrived.  We headed out to Tillamook for some lunch and ice cream. Shelby ordered smiley fries and chicken fingers.  The smiley fries were a big hit!  She ended up eating most of my grilled ham and cheese. 

When we got back to the beach house we headed straight for the beach. Ellie was nice enough to lend Shelby her coat.

Later that night we headed back to the beach for the firework show.  It wasn't as cold as we made it look.

Sunday morning we went to church in Lincoln City.  Naturally, we had to take a group photo when we got home.

Then we went back to the beach.

After Travis buried Soren in the sand, Shelby thought she was very clever when she put a bucket on his head.  Soren didn't think it was that funny.

Shelby was pretty tired by this time and it wasn't hard for her to convince willing grandparents she needed snuggles.
