Kitchen Remodel

We started our kitchen remodel on Saturday morning and by Sunday afternoon we could already tell Shelby was going to explode from lack of attention.  I figured a good way to keep her happy was to introduce her to the original Star Wars movies.

When Shelby became bored with the movies she played inside the box the laminate came in.  I don't understand how a box can provide hours of entertainment, but I'm glad it does. Shelby also enjoyed drawing pictures of herself all over the box.





 In order to apply the new laminate, we had to smear glue all over the bottom surface of the laminate and let it sit for about 30 minutes.  We told Shelby not to walk on it, but we didn't think about telling Percy.  He sure makes really cute footprints.

We are almost done putting up the tile backsplash and then we have to grout it.  When it's all done I'll post before and after photos.  Hopefully, we'll be done by the end of the week.
