I was really rushing to great ready this morning so Shelby wouldn't be late for preschool. When I was getting dressed I heard Shelby yell across the hall for me to NOT come into her room and she shut the door. I knew she was up to something. If it was something I needed to deal with I didn't have time for it so I just ignored it. When I got home from dropping her off at school I went into her room to make her bed and I found the reason she wanted to me to stay out of her room. It wasn't what I was expecting. She was putting her doll, Mary and her Mickey's to bed. She tucked them in, gave Mary her favorite book and the mice got her sippy cup. Shelby's cuteness is too much sometimes. I just love her.

That's very sweet. My daughter had her first nurturing moment this week. It was something very similar, though she's only almost 2.
I love the vintage sheets on Shelby's bed!
