I went to Goodwill last night to find a casserole dish. I found one; it was gross, rusty and not worth a penny. The sticker price was marked at $7.00. Totally ridiculous. Since I was super annoyed and didn't want to "waste a trip" I browsed the aisles looking for something interesting and fun. My perusal paid off because I found a 2-gallon fish tank. I've wanted a fish tank for the longest time and this was the perfect size...and it was marked at $4.00. Nice. I had to buy it. When I got home I dragged the Shelbs and Trav to the pet store. Shelby loves the pet store. She's most interested in the birds (they make the most noise) and the hamsters (because they squeak). We didn't want to invest in a filter system and a light for our tank (because we're cheap), so we decided to buy a betta. (Bettas do not require moving water, lights or large tanks). We had many betta fish to choose from; we went with orange (it was the cheapest) and we thought this fish was the coolest looking of all the fish. Welcome home, Ted!
