Oregon has a lot to offer. The coast has dunes, sandy beaches, rocky beaches, cliffs, and lighthouses and let's not forget that cool rock from the movie, "Goonies," which can be found at Oregon's Cannon Beach. Oregon has the Cascades with wet-snow skiing at Mt. Hood and dry-snow skiing at Bachelor (so I've been told, I haven't actually been skiing) In the south, Oregon has Crater Lake, which is unbelievably gorgeous. There is also a handful of beautiful waterfalls, rivers and lakes. If you've seen the movie "Twilight" you've seen one of Oregon's best waterfalls, Multnomah Falls. On a clear blue sky day Portlanders are even lucky enough to see the spectacular peak of Mt. Hood rising in the distance. Granted, Colorado has dozens of mountains just like Mt. Hood standing together in a row, but there is something different and special about seeing Mt. Hood standing alone against the blue sky. Beautiful. I also like the moss that grows on every tree, rock, bush, fence post, sidewalk, roof, deck and building. I also love hiking and seeing ferns growing everywhere. Ferns make the forests feel more enchanting than other forests. I like that.

Ah, I miss Oregon and its beauty. I loved on the clear days (really clear days) being able to see Mt. Hood, Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Bachelor, and Mt. Rainier. I really miss it.
Wow. That makes me want to take a trip! Did you take all of those pictures? They're beautiful.
my sweetie and I had an Oregon getaway pre-baby and we went to Multnomah Falls and I was so impressed. Oregon isn't all that bad, and I'm glad you guys are becoming friends, slowly but surely. We'll have to make more trips there ourselves.
