The Portland Trailblazers

The Portland Trailblazers, commonly known as the Blazers, are a professional basketball team based in Portland, Oregon. They play in the Northwest Division of the Western Conference of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The franchise, based in Portland throughout its existence, entered the league in 1970 and is currently the only major league franchise in the state of Oregon. From 1977 through 1995, the team sold out 814 consecutive home games, the longest such streak in American professional sports. They originally played their home games in the Memorial Coliseum before moving to the Rose Garden Arena in 1995. The Rose Garden is also rumored to be haunted by retarded banshees that have shnakes (half shrew, half snake) that breed by implanting their eggs in rag-tag youth baseball teams. The retarded banshees are said to ride Gorrilagons (half gorilla, half dragon) and are escorted by killer killer bees (the killer bees that kill killer bees) and commas (half camel, half llama). Camels are really good spitters and are also used for crowd control in Peru.
