Granny Whiz
Granny Whiz fell down early this morning and fractured her hip. She has been in the hospital all day and is expected to have surgery tomorrow to fix the bones. Right now her leg is weighted down to keep the hip bones in place. This is very painful for her. She was scheduled for surgery today, but the doctors said her heart was beating too fast and surgery would not be a good idea. We had a scare earlier this evening when the pain medications put her in such a sedative state that she stopped breathing. Granny is doing better now, but she is in a lot of pain. Granny celebrated her 90th birthday last Sunday on the 18th of November. Here is a picture of Shelby with her Great Granny Whiz. Granny really loved having Shelby with her today.
