Myspace, Heartbeats and Love

I figured out how to add a slide show to the blog. Cool eh? These pictures are fairly old, but I was just playing around with it to see how it worked.

Yesterday, I created a myspace page. I know, lame. But, it seemed like a good way to kill an hour during my lunch time. Beth, so far, is my only friend on my page. Boo hoo. I need more friends. My page can be found at www.myspace.com/anniejemima

A few days ago, I was also able to hear the baby's heartbeat during my doctor's visit. It sure was beating fast, 160 bpm. Hearing the heartbeat for the first time made for a great Valentine's Day present. To make things more interesting at my doctor's office, my doctor and my midwife both decided to have babies this summer. My doctor is due in June and my midwife is due in July. My doctor told me this proves that her office is baby friendly. She promised she'd be back to work long before the big day in August. Whew!

For Valentine's Day, Travis surprised me by taking me out to dinner at my favorite restaurant, Claim Jumpers! We had reservations for 4:15. That seems early, but that's when I usually need to eat dinner or I'll pass out or find the need to hug the toilet. We decided to splurge a bit so I ordered a steak and Travis got a huge plate of ribs. It was very tasty. I love that place! We should all go sometime. That would be fun.
